Out of Many, One
We asked 27 Americans — campaigners, builders, entrepreneurs, journalists, theologians, and historians — to look at their fields through a lens of American Universalism, the movement emphasizing universal freedom, universal rights, and universal opportunity. The resulting essays urge us to remember what inspired the people who came before us, who managed time and again to defy tyranny and move the project forward.
Building a United Front
We must mobilize American citizens into a cross-ideological coalition to defeat authoritarianism.
We are creating an on-ramp into the united front for the millions of Americans who feel politically homeless — alienated by the ideological rigidity of the left, terrified by the rising authoritarianism of the right, and frustrated by the establishment complacency of the center.
We have three interlocking capabilities to power a majoritarian movement.
We equip the united front with “trap memos” on how to avoid polarization traps, as well as faction maps of authoritarian power blocs and strategic forecasting to inform more effective campaigning.

We elevate the voices of new leaders with bold, winning narratives that unite majorities around solutions to the problems that matter to people in their daily lives, and contrast the extreme positions of the authoritarian right.
Amplify
We identify strategic opportunities and design campaigns to gain first-mover advantage in framing the public debate and center patriotism at the heart of our defiance.
